Granting a licence
Before deciding whether to grant a licence, we must consider a report from a veterinary surgeon or practitioner. This report details the conditions of the premises and any horses, and details whether the premises are suitable for a riding establishment.
How much does it cost?
A horse riding establishment licence costs £250. It also costs £250 to renew your licence each year. You will also have to meet the cost of the veterinary report.
When you apply for your licence online you will pay the fee online, by debit or credit card.
