Employee Development

We believe that our employees are one of our greatest assets and to ensure that we successfully deliver on our Corporate Plan, we are committed to developing our workforce. We are always encouraging our employees to develop their skills to be able to deliver the best service for our communities and residents. The employee development journey starts with our Corporate Induction programme, which will give all employees an introduction to Denbighshire County Council.

As an employee continues their journey with us they will no doubt identify gaps in their skills and want to develop. We will always encourage personal and professional growth and ensure that employees have the opportunities to develop existing and/or new skills.

We aim to take advantage of all the different types of learning, and embrace the creative ways in which our employees are able to learn, but also being mindful of the constant budget pressures that are placed on local authorities.
