Education training: Annual Mandatory Safeguarding Training

The training is targeted at the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) in schools and the named safeguarding governor. It will provide an overview of both local and national Safeguarding procedures with a number of themed areas relating to exploitation, sexually harmful behaviours and domestic violence against women.

The training is identified as a mandatory training event by the Local Authority, all schools and named safeguarding governors must attend one of the days.

Refreshments will be available but lunch will not be provided.

Who can attend?

This is only available to DSLs and named Safeguarding Governors in all Denbighshire Schools.

How to get involved

There is a cost of £65 per person for the School DSL for this training - We will arrange payment with the school after the training takes place.

The training is free of charge for the Governors.
