Who can join the library?
You can join the library if you live, work or study in Denbighshire, or one of its neighbouring counties. The library is open to people of all ages – you are never too young or too old to join the library!
Join the library online
If you join the library online, you will receive your membership number and PIN number in the post within 10 working days. When you receive these, you will be able to start using the online library catalogue.
You can also go to your local library and join in person. We will ask you for proof of identification, such as a driving licence or utility bill. You will then be able to start borrowing straight away.
What can I borrow?
You can borrow books, audiobooks and DVDs for free from any library in Denbighshire and Flintshire. We also have a large collection of printed music available to borrow.
You can borrow up to 10 items at a time.
You can keep the items for 3 weeks, but if you haven’t finished with them at the end of this time you can renew them. You can either do this in person at the library, over the phone or online. You can then keep the items for a further 3 weeks, unless someone else has requested them.
Already a member?
If you are already a member of the library, but you don't have a PIN number to use the online library catalogue, you can request one online.
