Who can join the scheme?
All settings that provide childcare for pre school age children can be involved in the scheme.
How do I get involved?
If you haven't already been invited, please contact our Healthy Pre School Officer to register your details and let us know you'd like to be involved.
How does the Healthy Pre School Scheme work?
For each health theme, the setting looks at promoting health through its policies, planning and ethos as well as the well-being of its community.
At the end of each phase the setting is assessed and once they meet the required standards are awarded a certificate from Public Health Wales.
Support with the scheme
Each setting will be supported by the Healthy Pre School officer.
