Update: Waste and recycling collections – Friday, 10 January, 1.30pm
Unfortunately, the adverse weather has continued to cause significant problems for our waste and recycling teams with icy conditions on the road and underfoot.
In order to ensure the safety of the crews, other road users and the public, we have had to suspend collections in the following areas:
- Glascoed, Engine Hill and Bodelwyddan
- Henllan
- Denbigh
- Nant y Patrick
- Trefnant
- Waen
- Meliden
- Aberwheeler
- Dyserth
- Llandyrnog
Any missed collection of non-recyclable waste will be collected on Monday. Recycling should be put out on your next scheduled collection day and additional side waste will be collected provided it is separated. Food waste can either be placed in your general waste bin or you can take it to one of our recycling and waste parks (with the exception of Corwen's pop-up facility).
We are aware of the areas that have been missed so there is no need to report missed collections.
We apologise for the inconvenience.
Recycling and waste collections
On your scheduled collection day, please make sure your containers are at your collection point by 6:30am. We may collect your containers at any time on your collection day up until 5pm, so please leave your containers out until then.
Missed refuse collections
Please do not report a missed refuse collection until after 5pm on your collection day as our crews may still be out collecting up until this time. Find out more about missed refuse collections.
