Our Play Ranger team are highly skilled and experienced, and committed to providing a safe play environment for all children and young people to develop physical, mental, social and emotional health and wellbeing.
Accessible Play Coordinator
The Inclusive Play Coordinator organises play activities for all children to take place in council buildings, parks, schools and open spaces within Denbighshire.
The Inclusive Play Coordinator also helps run the play activities.
Ruth
Ruth has 20 years experience of working with children and young people as a football coach and in Sport Development.
Ruth is a friendly, motivated individual who brings a lot of energy to the team.
Play Ranger
Play Rangers run and promote play activities for all children whatever their abilities.
Vicky
Vicky has experience of working with children of a range of ages and abilities previously working as a teacher and as sports coach.
Vicky is a confident member of the team with a strong passion for working with children
Play Ranger Assistants
Play Ranger Assistants help run and promote play activities for all children whatever their abilities.
Jane
Jane has recently joined the team after spending time as a stay at home mum with her own children.
She has become an integral member of the team whose experience with children really shows when out on sessions.
Molly
Molly has been a dance school assistant for a number of years. She performs alongside the principal, teaching various pupils from ages 2 to 10 years old.
Molly is a confident and friendly person and has a real passion for working with children.
Olivia
Olivia has experience in working with children of all ages in various settings and is currently in her third year studying Early Childhood Studies at university.
Ollie
Ollie is currently attending sixth form studying Public services, Criminology and Sport. He has a passion for sport which he takes and delivers at the sessions.
He is a very popular member of the Play Ranger team particularly when it comes to football.
Olly
Olly completed a scholarship with Chester City FC which included a level 2 and 3 in sports and physical activity.
He has experience in coaching children’s football which he does voluntarily in local communities.
He has a real passion for football and passing on the skills he has learnt.
Davi
Davi has worked with children as a teaching assistant and has extensive experience in one to one learning support as well as holiday provision support.
He is highly motivated with a real enthusiasm for his job and the children he works with.
