Rights of Way Improvement Plan
The Rights of Way Improvement Plan 2008-2018 is a 10 year strategic plan, which will eventually be incorporated into the Regional Transport Plan for North Wales.
The Rights of Way Improvement Plan looks at our local rights of way, and sets out how we will manage and improve them over the next few years. The plan includes an assessment of:
- how well local rights of way meet the needs of the public, both now and in the future
- the way that rights of way provide opportunities for exercise and other forms of open-air recreation
- how accessible rights of way are to people who are blind or partially sighted, or who have mobility problems
We consulted with members of the public and interested parties to carry out this assessment, and the findings form the basis of the plan.
