You will need your reference number which is nine digits long, starts with a two and is located on the top right of any correspondence sent by the business rates department.
When paying by cash/card/cheque, you should make the payments before or on the due dates detailed on your bill. Failure to do so can result in recovery action being taken against you.

If you have your reference number, you can make a payment online using your debit/credit card. We accept the following cards;

Paying by Direct Debit is safe and easy. You can choose one of four payment dates:

Set up a Direct Debit to pay business rates
You can set up a Direct Debit over the phone by speaking to our business rates team. Alternatively, you can complete and return a Direct Debit form.

Debit/credit card payments can be made using your reference number at the cash office, over the phone to the cashiers/Business rates department or via the 24 hour automated payment line on 0300 4562 499
Cash/cheque
You can make cash payments at any One Stop Shop in Denbighshire. All you need is your reference number.
You can pay cash at a post office or pay point using the barcode on your bill.
Cheques should be made payable to Denbighshire County Council with your reference number on the back and sent to Rhyl One Stop Shop, Church Street, Rhyl, LL18 3AA
Standing Order
You can set up a standing order with your bank using our sort code and account number. Please arrange for the payment to be sent 5 days before your instalment due date to allow enough time for the payment to reach your account. Our details are;
