Levelling Up Fund: Cynwyd to A5 Active Travel Project

Funded by UK Government logo

Project background

Project background

This project has been funded by UK Government as part of the investment to the former Clwyd South Constituency and also by Welsh Governments Active Travel Fund. The proposed project will see an upgrade in surface to the former railway line connecting Cynwyd to the A5, making the route accessible 365 days a year. In addition, an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing will be created on the A5, with a speed reduction in place to make it easier and safer for pedestrians and cyclists to cross/join the A5.
