Lenten Pool (Denbigh) road layout improvements
We are looking at re-designing the layout of the Lenten Pool road junction in Denbigh. Tell us what matters to you.
What are we doing?
We are looking at re-designing the layout of the Lenten Pool road junction in Denbigh.
This project is being developed with funds from Welsh Government Active Travel Fund Grant programme, which supports local authorities to develop walking and cycling schemes in their area.
Why are we doing this?
Lenten Pool is an area of Upper Denbigh (towards the South end of the town) with a busy road junction which hosts the local bus interchange as well as linking Bridge Street/High Street with Henllan Street and Smithfield Road.
A number of safety concerns have been raised around the site over the years by local residents and Councillors, and we are now in a position to start understanding these concerns in more detail with a view to potentially re-designing the junction at a later date.
During our last public engagement in April 2024, we compiled a list of key issues, and with these key issues in mind, we have developed two design options for everyone see.
What do we want to know?
We would like to know what you think.
We would like to invite you to a attend public drop-in session to speak to Road Safety officers and specialist traffic management consultants, or to take place in our short consultation survey.
What difference will it make?
Your views will help us to refine our two design options further, and create a road safety improvement scheme which works for everybody.
How can you get involved?
We are holding two public engagement events in Denbigh Town Hall on:
- Tuesday November 19th 12.30pm to 7pm
- Wednesday November 20th 9.30am to 12.30pm
What if I can't make it?
If you can't make it to either of the drop-in sessions, please don't worry.
The consultation materials can be viewed online or in Denbigh Library between Friday 22nd November and Sunday 15th December 2024
An online survey will be added to this website page from Friday 22nd November 2024
How will we feed back?
