5 February: Paned a sgwrs / cuppa and a chat

We’ll be visited by members of the Council’s Archives team to find out what the archives are and what future projects could mean for young people.


12 February: Valentine’s day crafting

With Valentine’s Day approaching, we’ll have a selection of crafts and gift making material available for you to create and gift to that special someone in your life.


19 February: Have your say!

Tonight’s session is all about you!! We want to know what sessions and activities you would like us to arrange after the half-term break. The team will have a budget for you, and will support you to create the youth club programme.

5 March: Quiz night and pancake day

With the Scotland game on the following Saturday, this Six Nations quiz night for young people will be on the topic of ‘all things Scottish’.

A chance to make pancakes to celebrate Shrove Tuesday.

For the Global Day of Unplugging, young people will discuss the idea of taking a break from technology and finding a healthy balance for it in their lives.


12 March: Quiz night and cuppa and a chat

With the England game on the following Saturday, this Six Nations quiz night for young people will be on the topic of ‘all things English’.

Topic for discussion: youth homelessness.


19 March: World Recycling Day

Young people will explore the topic of recycling and:

  • discuss whether Denbighshire can do better
  • consider food waste and see what we can make using ingredients from the Food Share
  • make a sign for the youth club using recycled materials

26 March: Mother’s day and World Theatre day

Young people will take part in a film and popcorn night, as well as Mother’s day crafts.

Young people will talk in groups about their hopes and plans, whether they’re in school, college or looking for work.


13 March: Inter-club pool competition

A pool competition where the winner-takes-all!


20 March: Quiz night

A chance for young for young people to test their general knowledge, memory and problem-solving skills.


27 March: Making pizzas

Young people will make pizzas with their favourite toppings to each at the club or take home.
